It’s never too early to start planning for the holidays, and Plano has lots of events and activities to celebrate the season. Don’t wait to get your tickets, so you don’t miss any of the fun festivities. Get ready for the holidays in Plano.

Plano Holiday Market

Start your shopping at the Plano Holiday Market. You can find all kinds of handmade gifts to give your loved ones at this annual event at the Carpenter Park Recreation Center. Exhibitor will sell their unique jewelry, clothing, soaps, candles, and more. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 19.

Lights on the Farm

The week of Thanksgiving is usually the official kickoff for holiday events, and it’s no different at the Heritage Farmstead Museum. The historic farmstead will transform into a winter wonderland with over a million lights and holiday displays. The quarter-mile walking trail winds through the property, showcasing the holiday lights. There’s even a 20-foot Christmas tree, sweet treats, hot cocoa, and everything you need for s’mores. It all kicks off on Nov. 25 and runs through Dec. 30.

The Nutcracker

Nothing says Christmas more than a performance of the classic Nutcracker ballet. The Chamberlain Ballet will perform at the Eisemann Center from Nov. 25-27, featuring special guests Tiler Peck and Tyler Angle from the New York City Ballet.

These are just a few of the many holiday events happening in and around Plano this season. There are other activities, including photos with Santa and holiday tree lightings, you should check out.
