The 2023 Outlander PHEV is coming soon with some updates and upgrades to the popular SUV. The plug-in version of the Outlander will have a higher capacity battery for added range and a long list of standard and available safety features. Take a look at some of these safety systems you’ll love in the 2023 Outlander PHEV.

  1. Forward Collision Mitigation with Pedestrian Detection

The Outlander PHEV has a front camera and radar that can detect cars or pedestrians in front of you. If there is an imminent risk of collision, it will send a warning. If you do not take the correct action to avoid the collision, the system will automatically apply the brakes.

  1. Blind-Spot Warning

The blind-spot warning system will illuminate a warning light in the side mirror when there is a vehicle in your blind spot. If your turn signal is on, the warning light will blink and beep three times to let you know it is not safe to change lanes.

  1. MI-PILOT Assist

MI-PILOT Assist uses cameras and radar to help alleviate the stress of stop-and-go traffic. It enhances the functionality of the adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist systems to help them keep the Outlander PHEV in its lane and set distance from the car in front of you. MI-PILOT assist will also provide steering inputs to help you navigate the road ahead.

These safety features are just some of the reasons you’ll love the new 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
