Halloween is right around the corner. Do you have plans yet? Check out these Plano-area Halloween celebrations.

  1. Frights’n Lights

Frights’n Lights is the nation’s No. 1 family-fun fall fest. This enjoyable Halloween event takes place all October long. Visitors can check out cool Halloween light displays, which are fun for all ages. This event bridges the gap between scary haunted houses and simple pumpkin patches, making it the perfect destination for your family to get into the Halloween spirit.

  1. Hall-O-Ween Movie Series

Catch a family-friendly Halloween movie at Legacy Hall in the Plano area. Screenings are Oct. 5, 12, and 26 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. “Hocus Pocus” is playing on Oct. 5, while “Monster House” is screening on Oct. 12, and “The Addams Family” is playing on Oct. 26. These screenings are free to attend, but purchasing a Pumpkin Package gets you a $20 hall pass for dinner or drinks, a Halloween candy bag, and two spooky drink tickets.

  1. Pumpkin Splash Patch

You can’t celebrate Halloween without visiting a pumpkin patch. Why not switch things up by visiting The Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium in Allen, right outside of Plano? This patch is actually a floating pumpkin splash patch. Guests can choose from small or large pumpkins to decorate for the holiday. Carving and decorating supplies are provided. The event takes place on Oct. 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Plano area has plenty of Halloween activities that you and your family can enjoy. Check out these local events to make this Halloween season one to remember.
