  1. Arbor Hills Nature Preserve

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a large, undisturbed natural area that sits within the city. It has 3 miles of paved walking trails, 3 miles of unpaved trails, and an off-road biking trail. The paved walking trail will take you over some small elevation gains as you wind through the preserve, and you can take any of the unpaved paths that shoot off of the main paved trail.

  1. Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve

Oak Point Park is the largest park in Plano. It has over 8 miles of concrete trails and over 5 miles of soft-surface walking trails that take you along Rowlett Creek. The trail system will take you through the canopy of a mature hardwood forest, through the Barred Owl habitat, and by some of the city’s oldest oak trees.

  1. White Rock Trail Park

White Rock Trail Park has a short walking and biking trail. It runs for just over half a mile, making it perfect for a quick walk when you want to get out for a few minutes.
