There’s nothing like a relaxing wine bar, as not only do they have a variety of wines, but there is typically some delicious food as well. If you find yourself in Plano, you’ll have quite a few options to choose from when it comes to wine bars. Here are a few of our favorite places.

Fizz

Fizz is a stunning wine bar that specializes in champagne with the largest champagne selection in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The wine list is still quite impressive, however, along with their optional charcuterie boards and light salads. You can also enjoy ladies’ night on Thursdays with half-price cocktails and wine by the glass.

Sixty Vines

Tap into wine country at Sixty Vines, where you can experience delicious wine paired expertly with a variety of food options. Their approach is to focus on the food first, which serves as the perfect complement to their array of wines, as they believe that it tastes best when enjoyed together. Some of the food options include charcuterie boards, pizza, and mains like rainbow trout or pork chops. They even have a particularly delicious Angus New York strip.

DéTour

If you’re looking for more of a Spanish twist on the traditional wine bar, there’s nothing quite like DéTour. This stunning restaurant offers authentic Spanish food alongside a long list of wines that changes frequently, allowing you to try something new on subsequent visits. They also have lounge seating and half-price bottles and glasses on Wednesday evenings.

When you’re in Plano, you never have to look far to find delicious wines to try, whether you want something fancy or something more laid back.
