Mitsubishi spared no expense on its redesign of the all-new Eclipse Cross. After a short break from the 2021 lineup, the Eclipse Cross makes its return with a fresh new look and some awesome new interior technology. Keep reading to find out more about the 2022 updates for the Eclipse Cross.
New Look
You might recall the dual-window rear on previous Eclipse Cross models left a lot to be desired. Well, not anymore. The new, more traditional single-window design blends seamlessly with the sleek updated bumper and larger taillights. On top of that, the 2022 Eclipse Cross gets a slight refresh to the front fascia to give it a more sophisticated vibe.
Cabin Comforts
Step inside the all-new Eclipse Cross for a glimpse at the updated dashboard, which includes a 7-inch standard or optional 8-inch infotainment system. Touchscreen operation and conventional volume and tuning knobs replace the clunky touchpad controls on the center console. Top-of-the-line Eclipse Cross trims also feature heated seats, dual-zone climate control, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Added Room
The 2022 Eclipse Cross boasts an extra 5.5 inches in total length from bumper to bumper. This equates to an increase of 11 percent in overall floor space and 0.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind the second row. Not to mention, with the second row folded, the Eclipse Cross offers an impressive 50.1 cubic feet of cargo space.
